Sports & Entertainment

Bobby leads the sports and entertainment team, organising sporting events throughout the year and ensuring there is entertainment every Saturday night, usually held in the games bar. 

Claire seeks performers who align with our vision and who we think will appeal to our members. Whether solo acts or bands, she collaborates with Bobby to ensure a full event calendar.

Alison has been organising entertainment and events for many years. She spends a significant amount of time arranging the annual kids' Easter, Halloween, and Christmas parties. She also coordinates the joint branch and social club Armed Forces Day event. Alison is also Vice-Chairwoman of the Branch.

Jo has been organising entertainment for many years. Like Alison, she spends a significant amount of time arranging and co-hosting the annual kids' Easter, Halloween and Christmas parties. 

You will see Martin most Saturday nights behind the computer screen, either pumping out the Karaoke tunes, hosting SpeedQuizzing or Hitmix Bingo. 

Another member of the Saturday night entertainment team, you will often see Rob providing technical support, as well as co-hosting the Karaoke nights.

Steve will be another one of our Saturday evening hosts, and has already hosted one of the most successful nights of entertainment in recent times, our inaugural race night!
